A Kind, Gentle Voice Called Presence with Thomas Leamy

In today's episode I had the honor of sitting down with Dominic Zenden. Dominic is a renowned auric profiler, best selling author, and host of the acclaimed podcast, "Twisted and Misunderstood." Dominic believes that truth is individual to who we are, what might believe could be the same as you even if we come across the same truth from different angles.

Truth has to feel right or resonate with us to become when we believe in.

So many versions of 'truth.'

Dominic's own beliefs start and end with deep thought, do not dismiss anything or embrace until he senses the understanding first. To assume or follow blindly is lazy and confusing, an endless trail of other people's thoughts that would never resonate because they do not belong to you. Following is easy, thinking takes practice. There are no big or small questions, all questions are equally as important, just some questions have more profound meanings.

Dominic's beliefs are structured and supple, as new information becomes available he wants to understanding and grow and expand, knowledge is unlikely to have limits.

Staying in the Mental Health Conversation with Dwight Hurst

In today's set episode I sit down with reoccurring guest (and friend of the show) the one and only Dwight Hurst. Dwight is a gifted psychotherapist who has worked in the mental health field since 1999, in hospitals, residential programs, and outpatient clinics. Dwight and I share the importance of staying in the conversation about the gift of thought and thinking and how it can point us in the direction of wisdom and presence or (if we innocently get caught up in our dystopic thinking) temporarily sabotage our peace of mind.

Not Caring About Your ADHD

In this episode we look at the relationship between the quality of our thinking (in the moment) and having a high speed and sensitive neurodiverse ADHD mind. There is real peace of mind when we really start to see the loud, intrusive, panicky thoughts for what it is (noise) and we stop caring when those loud panicky thoughts show up that feel real. Especially when the brain innocently blames outside situations on our temporary distorted state of mind). We begin to have good will for ourselves again when we trust we are always being taken care if we trust in the divine intelligence behind life underneath the noise of our neural appliance called the brain.

The Power of Now Meets the Torah with Moshe Gersht, Part 2

Sometimes the conversation is so important and powerful that it requires two parts. I had the unique opportunity to chat with @moshegersht Moshe Gersht, talmudic scholar, spiritual teacher, Wall Street Journal and USA Today best Selling author of the book, It's All the Same To Me. For over a decade Moshe has had the blessing of connecting with some of the greatest minds, learning the treasures of profound Torah wisdom, and experiencing the light and love of Kabbalah and Chasidus. Moshe and I dive deep into the understanding of the human psyche and the innate intelligence and wisdom that lies underneath our concept driven world of make believe created by our personal mind.

The Power of Now Meets the Torah with Moshe Gersht

Recently I had the pleasure of sitting down with my good friend Justin Stark. Justin is not only a satellite engineer, he is also a brilliant stage actor with a technicolor neurodiverse mind. Justin discovered that one of the gifts of being a stage actor is learning how to be present with his fellow actors. This also has helped Justin relate to others. Justin has studied acting (since the age of 14) when he got the lead role as inspector Jacques Clouseau of the French Surety in The Pink Panther Strikes Again. Justin moved to the Southern California area where he began doing acting projects ranging from commercials to small budget films but truly found his calling in theatre acting. He has studied with Peter Frisch of the The Peter Frisch Studio in multiple consortiums. He has continued to play diverse characters in the theatre from Froggie in The Foreigner to one of the Venticelli in Santa Barbara Ensemble Theatre’s production of Amadeus. He also has played historical figures such as the impeccable David Frost in Dijon Productions smash hit Frost/Nixon which was a live theatre and screen event. Justin has continued to do theatre in the Santa Barbara area for the last 18 years.
