Seeing Your Anxious Mind Settle Down on Its Own
Your personal mind is like your favorite television actor pulling the strings of thought and thinking. What we think is truth in the moment. Yet our personal mind is just making it up as we go along. Your personal mind does it’s best to create a story in the moment. To fill in the observational gaps.
What percent of it is actually true?
When we drop out of fearful thinking we drop back into the present moment. We finally see the present moment is not scary. The present moment is not anxiety ridden. It is your mind writing, producing, and directing the current melodrama.
The more we so our perfectly imperfect personal mind using the tools of the trade called blame, judgement, and criticism the more we see the psychological innocence of it all.
The more we see understanding, humility, and inner resolve the more we see our self-awareness muscle. A huge muscle that has always been there. Covered up by layers of heavy thought and thinking. A gift that we all possess. Even in the most harrowing moments. Harrowing moments that feel unimaginable. Untenable. Excruciatingly painful.
Don't take my word for it. Try it for yourself.
